Easter lilies and a Magical Monday
Good morning everyone! I'm in Barcelona right now and I'm hoping my scheduled post worked!
Welcome to my fourth and final week as a guest designer for There's Magic In The Air. I want to say a big thank you to Nina for giving me the opportunity and thanks to all the ladies on the team for the weekly inspiration. It's been fun working with you all :)
This weeks challenge is to showcase the beautiful Easter lilies image. I kept the card nice and simple so the image would be the main focus. I also used some Papermania pp, Victoria Cuttlebug embossing folder, Basic Grey pearls and some lace.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you all have a magical Monday :)

White challenge
I made this card for this weeks "white challenge" on the Cuttlebug blog. I finally got to try out my "Lovely as a tree stamp" set that I got from my lovely friend Lisa, thanks Lisa! I was going to colour the image but thought it was beautiful, left as is! I also used the "petals a plenty" folder that I got from her too (Lisa is a very sweet friend)! I also put the textile CB embossing folder to use as well.
Thanks for stopping by!

Mojo Monday #107
This Saturday we will be celebrating my eldest sons 10th birthday. I can't believe how quickly the years have gone by. I made a card for him using this weeks Mojo Monday sketch. I always find it hard to come up with an idea for male cards and usually end up buying one instead. I'm ashamed to say I don't actually own any stamps suitable for male cards. In my defense the nearest craft store to me is about 100 miles away, so I do most of my craft shopping online, and the online stores that I usually end up buying from, has a very small or no selection of male stamps. I found a really cool "for him" Papermania pp pad at the craft show that I went to last weekend. So for the card I used that pp, Bazzill & Coredination CS, my new "Stars" Cuttlebug EF and some BasicGrey chipboard letter stickers. I hope Adam likes his card :)

ISC World card making day challenge
Katherine/Dokis challenged us to make a card for WCMD and as WCMD is celebrated internationally, we were asked to make a card using the theme of "the country of our heritage/birth or where we live". This was the perfect opportunity for me to try out my new Goodluck Bella stamp! I used the colours of the Irish flag for my pp (Papermania) and cs. The green cs is embossed with the CB Victoria folder, the flower is Prima and the brad was a gift.
If you would like to see another Irish themed card, please stop by my lovely friend Kathy's blog. Kathy is in Australia and made a beautiful Irish flag card for WCMD. Please stop by her blog, it is full of beautiful and inspiring cards, you will love everyone of them.
Thanks for visiting and hope you all had a great WCMD :)

PCMB challenge
Judy gave us a fantastic sketch to work with this week. I loved using it and I'm going to use it tons more :)
I went to a craft show in Athlone on Sunday and I bought lots of new goodies and did a "colouring with Stamping Bella class", which was soooo much fun! I learned so much in that hour long class!
So for my card for Judy's challenge, I used lots of new goodies, Papermania pp, gem & ribbon, Stamping Bella - Emma stamp, Coredination cs and Victoria CB embossing folder. I just love new goodies! :)
Thanks for stopping by :)

Naughty but nice :)
This weeks challenge on the recipe card challenge blog is to make a breakfast recipe card. I had to go with one of my favourite recipes, it's great for breakfast or just about any other time of the day! But be warned it is naughty, NOT diet food! There is no harm treating yourself every now and then though! When you do, this choco-banana toastie is just perfect :)
I used DCWV pp, D'vine swirls CB folder, Papermania button and a flower from my lovely friend Tasia.
Thanks for visiting :)

Cuttlebug challenge #50
This weeks challenge on the Cuttlebug blog was to make a centerpiece for our party. For my "cupcake decorating party" I painted a vase (tomato tin) with white acrylic paint. I then added strips of pp to the top and bottom and used a tag, the same as the one I had used on my cupcake, take-home box. I cut, embossed and sanded the cuttlebug cupcake stamp and stuck them on, to the front of vanilla scented candles.
Have a great weekend :)

Cuttlebug Blog Challenge Week 3
For the third week of the Cuttlebug birthday party palooza we were asked to create a mini album to go along with our party theme. As my theme is "cupcake decorating party" I thought it would be nice to make a little cupcake frosting recipe book. I cut some Bazzill Coredinations CS to 3x5 inches. I embossed the cover page and lightly sanded it. I added a title, ribbon, a Studio G stamped cupcake and added some dimensional glaze to it. For the recipe pages I just added some embossed strips of CS and some punched flowers, which made it nice and simple to put together. This is still a work in progress as I want to add a lot more recipes to it :)
Thanks for visiting and have a great day :)
