Our challenge this time was to create a recipe card using the mediterranean as our inspiration. I created this card using a yummy French recipe for ratatouille crumble and some Cosmo Cricket paper which is available for Scrapbook store at your door. The little flags were all made from paper scraps.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you can play along with our challenge!

Recipe card challenge blog
Julie gave us a really fun challenge of creating a recipe card using an apron template. Our card is also to incorporate a bbq recipe to fit in the apron pocket. I really enjoyed making this and it was nice and quick to make too! All papers are DCWV Nana's kitchen stack.

Recipe card challenge
Our challenge this week on the Recipe Card Challenge blog is guilt free snacks. I made a recipe card using some paper from Scrapbook store at your door, X-cut diamond border punch and a lovely watermelon image that my friend Chris sent me. Our challenge has changed to every second week so it will give you two weeks to work on your card instead of one, so I hope you can come and play along.

Good morning! This weeks challenge on the Recipe Card Challenge Blog is meals for under $10 or €7.60 in my case. I kept the card really simple and used paper and brads from scrapbook store at your door, it doesn't really show up in the photo but the black cs is embossed with the Victoria cuttlebug folder. Don't forget to stop by the blog and see what the rest of the design team created.

Mexican Fiesta recipe card
This week on the Recipe card challenge blog Julie challenged us to make a recipe card that holds a lot, a square meal card! Your card can include pop out elements, a mini book, tags etc. I chose to do tags as I really enjoy making them and Mexican as my theme, I LOVE Mexican food! I used some fun paper from Julie's store and a felt flower from my stash. I used various stamps as embellishments for the tags and added ribbon, glitter and some 3D glaze to them.
I hope you can play along in this fun challenge and don't forget to stop by the Recipe card challenge blog to see what the rest of the design team created .

Recipe card Monday and yummy candy
Happy Monday everyone and welcome to another fun challenge from the Recipe card challenge blog. Our challenge this week is "Big Bold Backgrounds" - use a BG stamp or think inside the kitchen and stamp with a food item, utensils etc. For my recipe card I used a large doily and placed it over some white cs. I then dabbed some red colorbox ink over it to make the background. Don't forget there's some fab candy up for grabs (see photo below) on the Recipe card challenge blog, all you have to do, to be in with the chance to win is play along in this weeks challenge. If you don't have a blog you can e-mail your entry in. Good luck and can't wait to see what you create!

Naughty but nice :)
This weeks challenge on the recipe card challenge blog is to make a breakfast recipe card. I had to go with one of my favourite recipes, it's great for breakfast or just about any other time of the day! But be warned it is naughty, NOT diet food! There is no harm treating yourself every now and then though! When you do, this choco-banana toastie is just perfect :)
I used DCWV pp, D'vine swirls CB folder, Papermania button and a flower from my lovely friend Tasia.
Thanks for visiting :)

Cuttlebug Blog Challenge Week 3
For the third week of the Cuttlebug birthday party palooza we were asked to create a mini album to go along with our party theme. As my theme is "cupcake decorating party" I thought it would be nice to make a little cupcake frosting recipe book. I cut some Bazzill Coredinations CS to 3x5 inches. I embossed the cover page and lightly sanded it. I added a title, ribbon, a Studio G stamped cupcake and added some dimensional glaze to it. For the recipe pages I just added some embossed strips of CS and some punched flowers, which made it nice and simple to put together. This is still a work in progress as I want to add a lot more recipes to it :)
Thanks for visiting and have a great day :)

Christmas Muffins
This recipe is soooo yummy! The muffins smell and taste like Christmas :) I can't wait to get everyone's recipe's back, I always get so excited about recipe swaps!
I got the trusty Studio G cupcake stamps out again for this project! I also used Doodlebug pp, Hampton Art snowflake stamp, gold ribbon and the Bow Easy tool. The recipe sits in a pocket on the card and as the recipe is kind of long, I put the ingredients on the front and the method on the back.
Thanks for stopping by :)

Yummy!
I'm hosting a BBQ Party Recipe Swap on ISC. I wanted everyone to create 6 of their favourite BBQ dish and 6 cocktail (alcoholic or non alcoholic) recipe cards. All the cards are in (and swapped back) and I want to say WOW! The creativity that went in to each and every card is fantastic! I'm thrilled to have these cards in my collection and I have enough new recipe to keep me going all summer long :)
For my burger recipe cards I used Doodlebug pp, Bazzill cardstock and Studio G stamps. For the margarita card I used Bo Bunny pp, Bazzill cardstock, ribbon, Hampton Art stamp, X-cut flower punch and Papermania black gems.
Have a great day :)

More recipe cards
I just finished another batch of recipe cards for another swap. This time it's for a "Lost" themed swap that my sister is hosting on ISC. I felt so sorry for Juliet at the end of this season that I had to dedicate a recipe card to her :)
I used raspberry Bazzill cardstock, Basic Grey euphoria pp, Papermania flowers and the paper studio brads (thanks Vicky/lavenderblue for the brads!)
Hope you all have a happy crafting day!
