Smash band tutorial

I got inspiration from a pin on Pinterest recently to make a Smash band. It's quick and simple to make and I got to use up some things I had sitting around!
The twill type material was wrapped around a pair of pyjamas I got for a gift. The yo-yo flower is one I made.

Materials
Twill/ribbon
Yo-Yo flower or large button
Hair elastic
Needle
Thread

First measure your twill or ribbon so it nearly fits around your book

A few quick stitches secures the hair elastic

Stitch the flower on to the twill

Put around your book and pop the elastic over the flower and you are good to go!
