Simon Says...

The Simon says stamp challenge this week is "April showers bring Spring flowers". I made another ATC easel card and used some floral papermania paper along with a fairy stamp. I'm really enjoying making these little cards, if you haven't made one before you should really give them a try.

Bendy fold card

Hi everyone, we are having another wet and cold day here. I hope wherever you are the weather is better.

Over on ISC, this weeks challenge is to create a bendy fold card. Heather gave us a link to this tutorial. It looks pretty scary but it's actually really simple.

I'm submitting it to the love is in the air challenge on Simon says stamp and linking it up with the Valentine's party on Passionately artistic.

Shabby Chic

I hope you are all having a good Sunday. The challenge over on Simon says stamp is shabby chic. I haven't done much of this style before so I hope this is ok! I went for a blue theme for the challenge on ISC, which was to make a monochromatic card using your favourite colour. I also used a few of my favourite products; the Script CB embossing folder, Coredinations card, flower, bling and of course a Stamping Bella stamp!

I just had to try out some of my new goodies that I received from my sweet friend Lisa :) The  embossing folder (Stamping Up/Sizzix, petals a plenty) that I used on this card is one of them and I love it! Thank you Lisa! The image is a digi from There's magic in the air and the pp is by Papermania. The challenges that I'm entering this card to, are:

Simon Says Oriental

The theme for this weeks Simon say stamp challenge is Oriental. Although I love all things Oriental I only had one stamp that fit the challenge, a cherry blossom stamp. I used the script embossing folder for the BG and dabbed a gold ink pad over it. For the fan, I used a little strip of blue embossed card, folded it into a fan shape and then threaded some gold thread through the bottom to close it.
