Lucky for me there was a few days added to the challenge so I got to play along. A stamp for Henry

The cute stamp that I used on this card is a stamp to honour the life of a little boy named Henry, you can read more about him  here on the Paper make up stamps blog.  As a mother of two boys, I really found the story heartbreaking, so I bought the stamp to make a card for each of my boys for Christmas.

I used a sketch from last weeks PCMB challenge, the new Tartan Cuttlebug embossing folder, Papermania ribbon and some snowflakes.

Just us girls are doing a charity challenge this week using this stamp to help raise money for Henry's family. If you can, please stop by their blog and show your support.

Stamp something...

After a few days in bed with a cough, cold and sore throat, I have finally got around to posting  this card that I made, using the sketch  on the Stamp something challenge blog. I used my "Emma" stamp from the Lulu collection from Stamping Bella, Basic Grey pp, Victoria CB embossing folder, X-cut flower punch and a Papermania button.

ISC challenge & a card for Jaimie

This is my first time hosting a challenge on ISC. My favourite type of challenges are sketch challenges so I came up with the sketch below (thanks to my hubby for transfering it from paper to the laptop!) and if the players would like an added challenge, to use just one colour for pp and embellishments. I'm also asking if the players could send their challenge cards to Jaimie Cates, you can check out the blog for Jaimie here. We are always looking for new players, so if you haven't played along before why not stop by and take part.

This weeks sketch

The card I made for the challenge and have mailed to Jaimie

Thanksgiving card

This is the first Thanksgiving card that I have ever made, as we don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Ireland. That said I have a lot to be thankful for, my hubby being one, so I am going to give it to him. This weeks challenge on the PCMB is hosted by Sue and she challenged us to make a Thanksgiving card with a turkey, pilgrim or cornucopia on it. I got a beautiful digi image from There's magic in the air, and their challenge was to use the cornucopia image and a button. I also used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch, Papermania pp, button & gems and Victoria Cuttlebug EF.
