There's magic in the air & Sketch Saturday

The challenge this week on  There's magic in the air is to use this weeks free digi, any of the previous freebies or an image from Nina's new store Paper cupcakes. I was finding it hard to decide between this weeks digi or the digi I won on There's magic in the air blog hop. So the end result is two cards! The first card is made with the beautiful Afternoon tea image (thanks Nina!) and is coloured with my new water colour pencils that my lovely hubby got me for Christmas! I also used this weeks Sketch Saturday sketch.

The second card is made with this weeks cute image, Orson with cake. I coloured it in my usual way, using colouring pencils and Sansodor. I added glitter to the cake and stars for the bonus challenge (glitter, bling, stars).

Funny Poem :)

Here's a poem that I found on Danielle's blog and I just had to share it!

Twas the night before Christmas,

I’m glued to the tree.

I’m wondering what Santa brought just for me.

Could it be cardstock or ink pads or lace?

Or some stamps, I said, with a smile on my face.

And that’s when I heard him ... “Hi Santa” I said

He replied, “You know ... good girls should be in their beds”.

“I know I should Santa and now I’ve been caught.

But I was just so excited to see what you brought”

“Well, let’s take a look in this room where you work”.

He shook his head quickly, and left with a jerk.

I heard him exclaim as he put it in gear.

“You’ve got enough crap, I’ll see you next year!

It's Christmas Eve!

Happy Christmas everyone! I hope your holiday time is filled with lots of love and happiness and is shared with everyone special to you. Enjoy your Christmas dinner and lots of fun and games. Stay safe and warm :)

Holiday hugs to you all :)

Christmas Pudding....

This weeks challenge on the Recipe card challenge blog is to share a recipe from around the world. This card is for an Irish Christmas pudding. As the recipe is very long, the ingredients are on the front and the method is on the back as to not crowd the front of the card. All products used on the card are Papermania, except the red & green flower, which was a gift from my lovely friend Tasia!

Progressive Dinner challenge

This weeks challenge on the Recipe card challenge blog is "Progressive Dinner". I have never been to one of these but it sounds like so much fun, you travel from house to house eating each course of a meal! For my card I used one of my favourite recipe's, broccoli soup as a starter. It's really quick and simple to make and it's really yummy too! If you are looking for food related craft products check out Scrap book store at your door for lots of sweet goodies!
