Shine on...

PaperPlay have a challenge this week to "shine on"- use some sparkle, shine or gloss. I used some sparkly silver ribbon and some silver ink on my Christmas card, another Christmas card made to mark off my list, yay!

Dots and stripes

Today I thought I would make a start on my Christmas cards. It's not very summery out, so why not?
I seen on Michele's blog that the Christmas card challenges blog were having a dots and stripes challenge and this weeks challenge on ISC is to use spots, perfect! I love spots and stripes, my two favourite kinds of paper! I also used this weeks Sketch Saturdays sketch.

Some Christmas decorations...

Hello blogging friends, I have been a really bad blogger and crafter lately. I can't believe we are now at the end of November and Christmas is only 26 days away! How did that happen?????
Today I have some Christmas door/wall hangings to show you. I was inspired by some I found on Pinterest (yes I'm hooked!) including this one here.

I made mine from beer mats (I have quite a few), as I'm not the most patient of people I just decorated the front but you could of course decorate the back too and hang them in a window where you could see both sides.

A Christmas card

Good morning! Did you all have a good WCMD? I only got the one card made after but it's better than none right?! Today I have my There's magic in the air DT card to show you. Our challenge this week was to make a Christmas card with any aquired PaperCupcakes image and to include snowflakes. I used the really cute snowy flight image for mine. I made a recipe card before with this image too. You can see it here if you want.

Friday sketchers #63

I loved this Friday sketchers sketch so had to make a card with it :) I'm still on a mission to get my Christmas cards made early so I made a card using my new Papermania Home for Christmas pp pad, new Papermania Joyeux Noel clear stamps, Papermania embossed card, Colorbox cranberry ink, gems and some ribbon. Definately going to put this sketch to a lot more use!
