Another challenge card

For this card I used a sketch from this weeks Sketch Saturday challenge. I love this stamp (thanks to my Sis for letting me use it!), I also used two different types of pp from the DCWV paper stack, Prima flower, Versa color atlantic ink and Papermania star gems.

Challenge card

The challenge for this week on ISC was to make a Summer themed card. I needed a birthday card for a 6 year old and thought an ice lolly would be the perfect way to go.

School's out for summer!

The school's here closed this week, so I made a card and book mark for each of the boys teachers.
For the cards I used this really cool Bella image (love Bella!) and lots of other lovely goodies sent to me by my dear friend Patti. She is one of the kindest and most talented people you could ever meet, please stop by her blog if you have the time, you will be glad you did! Thanks Patti for being my friend :)

For the bookmarks I used a Hamilton Art stamp, Stazon black and gold Colorbox ink, Making memories pp, letter sticker and ribbon and then laminated it.



We have been enjoying lots of great weather here for a change and have even had a few BBQ's! Here's a layout I made this week to mark the arrival of summer, however long it will last.

I made this card a few weeks ago for Beachbum/Chris's sketch challenge, on the PCMB for my lovely hubby! I also won that weeks challenge (my first challenge win!!!) and received a fantastic prize package of stamps and embellishments :) Thanks Chris!

Deeply dippy....

I had alot of fun making these garlic dip recipe cards, for a dip swap on ISC, especially the "homemade nacho's"! Garlic dip and nacho's, what more could you want :)
I used Bazzill cardstock, Sandylion pp, a flower punch, Colorbox & AMM ink and a Studio G (let's eat) stamp, that I received from my lovely friend Vicky/Lavenderblue!

I'm hosting a BBQ Party Recipe Swap on ISC. I wanted everyone to create 6 of their favourite BBQ dish and 6 cocktail (alcoholic or non alcoholic) recipe cards. All the cards are in (and swapped back) and I want to say WOW! The creativity that went in to each and every card is fantastic! I'm thrilled to have these cards in my collection and I have enough new recipe to keep me going all summer long :)
For my burger recipe cards I used Doodlebug pp, Bazzill cardstock and Studio G stamps. For the margarita card I used Bo Bunny pp, Bazzill cardstock, ribbon, Hampton Art stamp, X-cut flower punch and Papermania black gems.

Challenge cards

I just love sketch challenges:) They are so much fun and usually make me try something different. I have actually managed to do two challenge cards this week!

The first is for Loretta's sketch challenge on the Docrafts site http://www.docrafts.co.uk/
I used Papermania pp and gems, Making memories butterfly stamp and some ribbon .

The second one is for Jenny's sketch challenge on the Paper Crafts message board http://www.scrapandpapercorner.com/index.html For this card I used DCWV pp, prima flower and Papermania stamp and gem. As you can probably tell I am in purple mode at the moment:)

More recipe cards

I just finished another batch of recipe cards for another swap. This time it's for a "Lost" themed swap that my sister is hosting on ISC. I felt so sorry for Juliet at the end of this season that I had to dedicate a recipe card to her :)
I used raspberry Bazzill cardstock, Basic Grey euphoria pp, Papermania flowers and the paper studio brads (thanks Vicky/lavenderblue for the brads!)

Yeay for recipe cards!

I'm in a "Lord of the rings" recipe swap (take a favourite recipe and give it a "Lord of the rings" twist) on ISC and today my cards came! :) Recipe swaps are by far my favourite swaps. I love to cook, bake and craft and what better way is there of combining all three than recipe cards? All the cards are fantastic, I have some very talented friends! And I am going to have so much fun trying out the recipes! I took two spots in this swap and here are the two cards I created for it.

Fairy Wishes

I'm taking part in a "Fantasy" themed ATC swap on ISC (www.inspireswapchat.com). I really love the theme for this as there is so much choice from unicorns and castles to dragons, think back to your favourite fairy tales! For my ATC I used my new Papermania fairy dance stamp, Basic Grey paper, Bazzil cardstock, Papermania and Prima flowers (thanks Jacque for the Prima's!), Anita's ribbon, Papermania gems and some trusty glitter glue for the fairy wings and her skirt. I'm really looking forward to getting this swap back as I have seen some of the ATC's in the gallery and they are amazing!
